I grew up a small-town girl from Texas! My family listened to country music, and my formative years were rooted in a certain value system. Children are the innocents in this world. We, as leaders, can learn so much from their example. There are so many incredible moments related to my volunteer work through the St. Baldrick’s Foundation. In six short weeks, we had over 100 shavees signed up, local musical talent that filled eight hours, a dog show and other activities to entertain children and their families, a grill station set up by a local restaurant, and a tent full of silent auction items! Courage is a value that continues to present itself in my life. The name “Coaching Courage” came to me one day at work. I thought of several names with courage in them. Suddenly, I repeated, Coaching Courage, Coaching Courage, Coaching Courage. I turned to a colleague and excitedly said Coaching Courage! That’s it! I have the name of my company! (Click on blog post.)
